Thanks for an outstanding forum for vintage Toyota fans . The layout is well thought out and nicely executed. A couple of constructive suggestions before the forum gets active: 1. You may want to add an area for "All Others" under the Car Models area. Since Toyota has so many models (for example, Sera, Century, Chaser, Hiace....), this would be an area where people can post when they have a model not classified in the forum. 2. Under the Sell, Buy, and Vendors section, you may want to split the forum to include Cars for Sale, Cars Wanted, Parts for Sale, and Parts Wanted sections. This seems to work in other forums. Once again, these are just suggestions. Thanks again for putting up up a great forum. Cheers, gaijinshogun

Yes, I think this looks great. And I want to say hello to everyone. I'm trying to get my RT52 ready for May but I don't think it will happen, maybe next year. I usually come every year, and I have to drive from SE Arizona. I might take my 86 tho.

It's hard to read the text and strains the eyes. Here's what I'd prefer the forum look like:http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?act=idx

The last 2 duplicate posts sound more like a plug then complaint. To top it off it's from a GUEST.

I like the white on black. I think the light blue colors like the forum that the fly-by poster suggested are too hard on the eyes. I will not participate in those forums ;D

why are 'guests' being allowed to post? isnt that why we have to login as a member first? other forums will not let you post unless you are a member.

why are 'guests' being allowed to post? isnt that why we have to login as a member first? other forums will not let you post unless you are a member. For the time being we have decided to let Guests post. Our thinking behind this is that a visitor may want to post a simple question about something, get a reply, then that's the end. This gives the casual visitor the opportunity to take part in our Forums. If this option of 'Guests posting' gets out of hand for whatever reason, we can always change it.

Thanks for your suggestions! We've taken steps to make this happen - check out the OTHER MODELS board. We've listed a number of more unusual, obscure and later model Toyotas. We haven't included too many Japanese or European models, but that can change if interest in a certain model arises.
2. Under the Sell, Buy, and Vendors section, you may want to split the forum to include Cars for Sale, Cars Wanted, Parts for Sale, and Parts Wanted sections. This seems to work in other forums.
Done also! That was a great suggestion & should make browsing that section much easier.
As always, everyones feedback is welcome. While we might not implement every suggestion, all feedback is read & considered in hope of improving our forums.

I have pictures from the last 3 years at the queen mary thanks and keep up the good work Thanks for your inquiry. The forum does not have an area to "upload" pictures. If you want to share photos with other readers, simply add them to your post, however, you'll need to have your photos stored elsewhere, such as with a photo hosting service.
All the old pictures from the "old" TORC website are still on file, we just haven't gotten around to bringing them back online. As time permits, we will bring back many of those "old" pages, as well as several new features.

Another request fulfilled. Towards the top of each page you'll see a Return to the TORC website link. A quick click on that will get you back to the TORC website homepage!

How about a section for sale "Obsolete Parts/Books/Manuals", this would really help the owners of older cars. Strut inserts are an example for the stock Celica TA22 & Carina TA12....cannot find them. Munroe listed them but they have had the wrong ones listed for 20 years, they just found this out from me (they have nothing compatible). Bilstein B4's may fit but I need feedback from the experts on this guys as they are expensive.
