i need help figuring out when toyota changed the design of the sr5 guage clusters from the round plug prong type to the rectangular blade type plugs btween 79 and 83 on the trucks. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would have to narrow it down to when the gauge cluster changed from the '81 to the '82 model. Remember, 79-81 had a small tach in the middle and in 1982 was when they introduced a full sized Tach. Could be wrong, but that would have to be my guess.
