ahahaha....... that thing would scare the hell outta me if I saw it in the rear view mirror........ I reckon this is the same one, but they just painted the rims black to tidy it up a bit maybe?

That stout belongs to Luke of 4wheel labs! I have the original wheels, transmission and original rear end from that truck!
When I last spoke with Luke, they were building it for a shop truck. Not sure what the current status is.

Don't spose those original wheels have an original set of hubcaps that you'd like to Air Mail to a nice fellow in Australia? ;D

Sorry, no hubcaps. If I had them, they'd be on my truck!

Just paint them I nice plain black or something for now. I always keep my eyes open at shows and swap meets. We have a couple guys up where I live that collect hub caps for a hobby. Sometimes they come across some old stuff so im always lookin. Looks like ya washed your truck from your aviator. Either that or waxed it, looks clean. Hey by the way, can't tell from your photo but is your grill chrome or painted? I see your bumper is painted. My truck has chrome grill and bumper but sadly they have seen better days, gonna have to get them re-done. But curious to see how common that is because I thought they sold them all the same. Later, Andrew.

My Grille is painted white and my front bumper is the same colour as the body, I'd like to get the grille chromes but far too expensive for me to consider at the moment. The vented panel in front of the windshield above the bonnet is also white so I think I will leave it as is at the moment as I quite like it anyway. I'll just paint my TOYOTA stamped lettering on the rear drop down tray door to match.
Yeh my rims will get painted but I'm not sure what colour yet. I think for now I will solve my hubcap problem by getting some old Ford Falcon steel rims and jst getting the chrome dog-dish style centre caps that they used. It will at least get me the look I am trying to acheive.
Hehe..... I didn't wash or polish the truck, it rained heavily while it was being transported from my buddy's place to my place. That cleaned it up a bit. ;D
