I saw one just like it at the Portland Intl Raceway a couple of months ago. It was for sale and instead of buying that I bought an 86 Cressida Wagon. WHAT WAS I THINKING??
Could you grab the color code off of the VIN plate for me?

Hello Gerry, I just joined the forum after seeing my neighbors' 1968 Corona RT43, which I'm told has the 1500cc motor, 3 speed manual. I'm wondering what kind of gas mileage to expect from this car. Thanks to others who may reply to this question.

It has been awhile since we used an RT43 for daily driving (bought a new one in 1968, used it used thru 1972 and sold it to my brother--replaced by Plymouth Valiant with a 318 and Chrysler Town & County wagon with a 440 ), but as I remember in the 20-25 MPG range driving without regard to good gas mileage. The engine should be a 1900 3RB or 3RC engine. Carlyn Dinkler cdinkler@bellsouth.net

I really haven't figured out the gas mileage on my Corona ( 3RC), but I want to say it's probably around 20-25 like Carlyn claims...
