i have a 77 corona and the thing has miles of vacuum line.. i have been haveing some vacuum issues.. well i think any way.. when i drive it at good rpm it drives fine. but when so when i slow down it wants to die.. i had a dealer check it out and they drove it it was just fine.. but the butterflie stay wide open.. i replaced the chock cover with the spring on it. no chagne is there anything i can do to just get rid of all the lines like going with side drafts. or something like that. please help

Get a 32/36 weber and get rid of the lines. Plug them, take 'em out burn them Just get rid of them, a weber will give you more power, and a bit better gas milage.

i tried that but the linkage as messed up with it being a rod on the firewall then another rod to the carb..
