If it turns out that I need to replace the engine in my Stout (in order to drive at freeway speeds and occasionally pull a small boat trailer) which would you suggest?

Im working on a chevy 350, little work with the larger motor but ive heard of a few people doin the buick v6 in them. If you want more power I would go that route, or it might be fairly simple to go with a early gen 22r. The trucks are pretty strong and can handle most of what you throw at them. The tranny im pretty sure is gonna have to go but im not sure, something may have an adapter or you know somethin to make it work but realisticly you aren't gonna want it. The diff is really strong though so no prob there. Have fun
