If you need the 12 shackle & pin bushings for the rear springs (all the same part number), I believe that they are still available. Contact Art at Cabe Toyota in the parts department 562-595-7411 X250. Carlyn Dinkler

Hey Stoutman...... any chance of you posting some pics of your truck? I just can't get enough of these things at the moment. Still waiting to get mine to my house to start working on it. I should have it in the next 2 to 3 weeks though. In the mean-time I am just trying to gather as much info as I can on them and see as many different pictures of them as possible for ideas.

Sure I will try, only have one with me and its from a while ago, My truck is about 20 or so different shades of color from the many different primer coats Iv placed on it. As far as running gear it is very sound or "stout" lol. The breaks and motor and interior are all great and have been re-done recently.. The interior is restored mostly and the entire truck is coming along at a steady pace. I hope to have it mostly done by the time I graduate college. Im on about the tightest budget known to man though so its hard to move fast. My family ownes a 65 that is origanal and in awsome shape, I never wanted mine to be origanal so ive been collecting parts and supplies and doing research to do a motor swap and make it my own. Its hard though because parts such as those bushings push me back and take me a while to iron out. Ill make it though, ill start posting pics of its progress and what gets done every chance I get.

Yeh that would be awesome bro. I dunno if you can, but I'd love to see some pics of the family Stout in original condition as well. It's weird, but seeing pics of other people's Stout's helps spur me on to get mine on the road.
I finally get it back to my house from a friend's place on Thursday next week. Then it's a matter of re-doing the brakes (finding a master cylinder should be fun) and just replacing all the fluids. I reckon that should be about all it takes to get on the road. Oh and new tyres.
I understand the tight budget thing man. I am similar, but probably not quite as much as you. I am trying to save for my own place though, so spending on a car is not high on the priority list.
