So what I've got is a 1979 Toyota Corona LE Liftback with a 20R engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. I think its a T130 series although not sure. I'm located in Riverside, CA. It looks pretty much exactly like the commercial:
Starting with the positive, the interior and body look great! The burgundy interior is still in pretty good shape. It really is a good looking car. I don't think there's any rust anywhere and even the paint is in pretty good condition. It runs okay and just had its water pump, hoses and belts replaced. It has at least 126k miles (maybe 226k) and being an older car, is a mechanic's special.
I'm not really sure what to ask for this car because I'm not a real car guy but figured that someone here could make me a fair offer. The AQMD scrappers offered me $700 for it so I'm open to anything above that if it's worth that much. The car was a gift to me and I must say it has some sentimental value because it was my first car. I'd really prefer not to scrap it and would hope that someone could either restore it or at least make use of it for parts. I'd restore it myself if only I had the funds and car expertise but sadly I have neither. I'm selling it to pay for my next car and as a college student my budget is very small so please offer kindly! Again, I don't know how much this car is worth but the offer must be at least $700 or I might as well scrap it. Please take it off my hands, thanks!
