I was referred to a shop that handles boat seats (OEM). They are called Modern Assemblies in New York Mills Minnesota. A friend of mine is into vintage snowmobiles and cars, I seen the work the guy was doing and I thought it looked very good. I've spoke to him about maybe producing covers if there was a demand. Which would also help with the cost. Going with stock colors makes a difference as well. The Vinyl wasn't an exact match but we got pretty close (hard to determine what is exact anyway, 40+ years of UV will definitely change things). We looked through swatches from the suppliers and picked a shade. I have enough material over to do the headliner and sunvisors.

Hey mnstout that looks really awesome. You must be happy. I badly need to recover my seats but other things always seem to get my money first. I'm glad you guys are getting some sunny weather so the Stout can come out of hiding. Opposite here..... we are soon to be heading into winter so the Stout will sit in the garage for 3 or 4 months idle.

Thanks Oz_Stout, Yeah I have that money disappearing condition as well. ;D . I am currently working on this to hopefully get a DIY kit available.
Hopefully you can squeeze a little more driving time out of it yet, I was removing the frost before putting it away (we usually stretch out our winter season Oct - April) Even if it warms up a little you don't want to take them out because we use salt on our roads.
