Hello, I have posted this several times on Craig's list. THis car belonged to my grandmother (really!!), who died in 1998. My mom has been maintaining the car since then. Price (4000) is negotiable, but we have to be convinced that you are a responsible home for this family treasure. For loving collectors: Toyota Corona (2-door), 45,000 miles (see photo of dashboard), in excellent condition, road-worthy (just don't drive over 60 mph -- this is because of the catalytic converter that has been added to conform to Cal. emissions standards). Missing one hub-cap. No dents, no rust, no "bondo," original paint. Beautiful, clean, has been driven lovingly and garaged inside. With owner's manual. Driver's window sticks. Crack in front dashboard. White with black interior. Automatic transmission. This is a very special car. Please let me know if you are interested. Grandma was so proud of it. She was German -- she maintained this car VERY meticulously. See photos on Flickr here tinyurl.com/nocwpzor cut and paste this URL into your browser www.flickr.com/photos/45828255@N00sets/72157607098681064/Car is in Chico. Price is negotiable, but we want to know it will be in good hands, and that you will send us a card now and then. I'm on the east coast, but my mom doesn't do email. THanks, Liane Liane58@gmail.com

Not true. None of the thousands of Californians with a 1974 or earlier Toyota has ever had to add a catalytic converter to conform to Cal. emissions standards.
