Hello, I own a 1978 Toyota Hilux Sunrader (RV), RN28, and I've got a big crack in my windshield. I live in the Netherlands and the crack will be a (dutch) inspection failure here, so I need to replace it. But toyota doesn't supply a windshield for this type anymore (type : RN28, 20r engine), at least not in Europe and no junkyard in this country has one. My questions are: does anybody know where I can get one? Are there other Hilux types which have the same windshield? If yes: where can I get one of those?
Thanks Michel de Vries

Hi Michel, My guess is that probably the best chances are if someone here in the States can find a 78 truck (actually 73-78) in a junk yard. Since our forums aren't too active, you might also try the Japanese Nostalgic Car forum or the Old Japanese Car forumGood luck!

I know where there is a cab from a 78 pickup. I believe the windshield is okay. I will post a picture or two tomorrow. Not sure how it could be sent.

Pictures of the windshield. Actually looked a lot better than I expected. No wiper scratches and maybe one very small (less than a penny sized) fog. Other parts available off from this truck!

This is Great, thank you!! The chassis number on the picture starts with RN23. I have a RN28, but I do believe that they have the same windshield (RN23 is the shortbed version). How can I get in contact with the owner of the cabine? And concerning shipping : I have arranged for a shipping adress within in the states (Buffalo, TX). Grtz, Michel
