Where are you buying your oil filters and gaskets? I'm also looking for a good reference to help learn how to maintain my (new to me ) '65 stout

Try contacting Herb or Art at Cabe Toyota in Long Beach CA. parts@cabetoyota.com or 1-800-576-2223 ask for the Parts Dept. Cabe has always helped out with the restoration community & stocks lots of discontinued stock. They usually have some stock of OEM filters. Art sold his Stout a few years back, it was rebuilt by Mike B also from Cabe and it was a prize winner and has been seen in So Cal Toyota commercials on & off for the past 2 years. Do you have any pix of your Stout? Here is a picture from 2001 of Art's Stout restored by Mike B (then owner):

I stock the oil filters, air filters, fuel filter elements, and other normal tune-up items for the RK41 Stout. I also stock most internal parts to rebuild the 3RB/3RC engines. I take paypal and shipping is actual cost. Carlyn Dinkler cdinkler@bellsouth.net

I try to buy as many parts for the cars that I specialize in because many suppliers with old parts are junking them because they can not identify the parts or they have decided the time & money spent trying to sell them is worth more than the money the parts might bring. Many time when I buy a 'lot' of parts to get what I need for the car that I specialize in, I get some parts that I do not need. I will try to post lists of those parts as I can.
I specialize in parts for the RT43/52/6#/7#/8#/9# with the 3RB/3RC and 8/18RC engines. 99% of my time is spent on the 1965-70 Corona RT43/52 series because that is what most people want parts for.
Many parts are becoming difficult to find, and just one example is the early single brake master cylinder (there was an early aluminum casting and a late cast iron casting) for the 1965 to 12/67 Corona RT43/52, and so I am trying to collect cores and other parts to have a lot of 10, or so, sleeved & re-manufactured.
