Is there a possible way to repair chrome bumpers and trim with pitted rust? The pits inset slightly and seem to have plenty of good metal beneath. I am fine with rechroming. Otherwise, very little damage, that is easily fixable, on the bumpers and no dents on the trim. Any ideas? Thanks!

If your bumpers are just rusty, many platers can straighten & grind & polish as part of the normal replating process. Some can also weld thru holes as part of the repair process.
For other trim on the early Coronas, both thin steel & pot metal, any grinding other than very light polishing will ruin the parts. These type parts have to be good or better to start with (many people would use as is), they need to be chemically stripped, minimum buffing & then replated.
Stainless trim can be straightened & dents removed, heavy scratches sanded out & then buffed. This is just a lot of labor to do & if you are not careful with the buffing wheel you can make a pretzel out of your trim.
RT43/52 1968-70 front & rear bumpers assemblies (3 pieces) with chrome bolts & other hardware to assemble are $376.32 each and are stocked.
For the 1965-67 RT43/52, the front bumper complete ready to bolt on is $610.10 (3 bars, guards & rubber bumpers, brackets & hardware). The rear bumper complete assembly is $620.20. I have very limited stock of these.

Carlyn, thanks for the info. 95% of the trim just needs to be buffed. The bumpers and chrome trim on the inside of the doors at the vent window has sustained the pitted rust. Now I know the contact for parts that I can't salvage. On another note, I am very impressed with your parts catalog and soon will be ordering parts.
