Does anyone have pictures of stock interiors of any Stouts?
The Toyota Museum is having one truck restored, and the shop is ready to do the seats. The truck is the "Ivory" color, but they don't know what color the seats or interior trim was.
If anyone has pictures or advice, please respond!

I do not know the years of the doors, as they were extras with the pickup. I do believe they are original in color. The bottom picture shows, metal, primer, then paint from an abrasion spot on the inside of the door. I will send the sample to Cabe in LB, attn: Mike/ToyotaGeek. If possible, it would be great if the information gathered from it, sources, color name, texture style, could be shared, and a return is possible, that would be great. Thanks!

Sounds great! I don't know how much actual information I will be able to gather, since there is little data available to us. As far as I know, no 'actual' color or trim codes are even known for the Stouts, the best we can do is guess and match. I have a DUPONT color chart that lists the color codes for Toyota from 1966 to 1971 - but I don't know what colors were used on what cars. You can find the chart HERE - select the files for: 1966-71 Color Chart page 1 and 1966-71 Color Chart page 2 If anyone has the color and trim codes for their Stout, please let us know!

Does anyone have a good picture of what the headliner is supposed to look like? All that is left of mine is the foam.

Wow they're actually doing a full restore. I noticed the inner fenders are color matched. I kind of thought they are black on both sides. Same for the firewall. I was going all black and with rubberized undercoating inside the fenderwells. Can anyone say for sure what the factory did?
BTW, to partially answer the topic question, on the original brochures they both show the seat bottom having ribbing all the way front to back. But any original seats I've seen have a solid panel about 6' wide in addition to the ribbing. Probably trivia, but I suspect the brochure pictures were pre-production.

A section of the rubberized undercoating has dropped off the underside of my hood and it is black underneath that. Same with the wells, not sure on the firewall, but I would assume so.

If anyone has any picture of a stock headliner, that would really help me at this point. Looking at how the foam has deteriorated (appears perforated) I am assuming this was a vinyl over foam headliner applied with a spray adhesive. I found some material at trimstore.comI am more than likely going to go this route as long as it doesn't cause condensation issues (I hope).
