I have a pair of 4 door coronas, 68 and 69. sep 69 for the one, the other isn't too important at this point.. I need either a master cylinder, a rebuild kit or an alternative master cylinder, or info on what parts I can retrofit for a disc swap. It's currently 4 wheel drums, no assist.

To convert the front to disc brakes, find an RT8#/9# (1970-73 Corona) for parts. There are some earlier posts on this subject that give some details.
For the 1968-70 brake M/C, I have a few choices: 47200-20084 New Toyota $192.04 New aftermarket $147.25 Reman bare cylinder $75.50
04471-20052 kit for above (I recommend you sleeve the cylinder first) New Toyota $45.10 Aftermarket $35.41
A set of my catalogs (300+ pages) for the 1965-70 Corona is $20.25 (about what they cost to copy & postage) or free with an order.
I should have all parts to fix your brakes. Carlyn Dinkler cdinkler@bellsouth.net

I've seen the previous threads (after I posted... acting a like a total noob, lol) but honestly I was hoping for something a little better than that. maybe a vented rotor and easier to find replacement parts... For the moment, I think I'll just get a replacement master, adjust the brakes and try it for a bit. The other car is (mostly) complete, I was thinking of robbing a spindle and seeing what I can come up with. Master cylinder alternatives are going to be a pain though, I know this.
