I have several pre 1970 Corona's and alow mile unmolested 77 Celica GT liftback. 2 of my Corona's are under 30,000 miles, original paint, rust-free. The other 2 are 2 door and over 100,000 miles but rust free. I am considering upgrading engine and possible suspension (sort of restomod) while keeping body and interior completely stock. Does anyone have experience with this and know of other engines that might more easily fit in (motor mount etc)?? Thanks lot (I live on the east coast)

Welcome ! Dude, I'm glad to see another Corona owner! I own ( Well, me and my girl Lisa) Own 2 1967 RT43 sedans. Post some pictures of your rides!
As far as engine swaps, I've heard of the 3TC swap and 4AGE swaps. Maybe some of the folks up in here may be able to help you out since both the Coronas have original engines.
BTW I'm from the East Coast (MA) Us East Coast guys are outnumbered by West Coast, But i'ts ok
We all share the same interest and We are like Family, right guys?

@ csabc ~ Welcome to our Forums! I really love the old Coronas - looking forward to seeing some pictures of them! Of course I like the Celicas too, especially since I have one of my own! @ GR ~ East Coast, West Coast, North, South... don't matter where we are, cuz we all love Toyota! ;D
