I like the jap spec mirrors! It looks so good with the body colour bumper, the patina of the tray, and the grey wheels. Chrome hubcaps might ruin the look you've got going!

I got bored so I photochopped hubcaps on using good ol' Photoshop 2. they make the wheels look smaller. I prefer without hubcaps.

Thanks stoutrust I appreciate your kind comments. It certainly looks nicer than it did when I first picked it up as shown in the pics below. Thanks for photoshopping some caps on for me. I still really want some. Even if they don't go on straight away, but some day I would like to restore the old girl to it's factory colour etc and that is when I will be desperate for the hubcaps. I sort of imagine them to be shiny shiny chrome to tie in with the mirrors and headlight surrounds. I have a Cortina that is a total patina'd ratter and that looks good with the shiny caps. I dunno, maybe I wouldn't get the same result. Might sneak a pic of the Corty below as well and hope no-one sees me posting a Ford up on this forum.

Does that mean it will end up being green? Hubcaps in real life will look a hundred times better than my photoshop anyway. And I don't mind looking at your Corty either that is a fine piece of Ford porn

Does that mean it will end up being green? Yeh that is what I have in mind at the minute. I have been trying to get the colour code, but without any luck at this stage. My mind is not totally made up yet and I really like the colour the truck is at the moment, so nothing will be changing for a while.

This is a slightly different topic, but did you use just Cortina letters for the bonnet and chop the R into a P? Cool idea I've been trying to think of something to spell with the letters Holden Premier for my HT ute for about a year now and still can't think of anything good.

Yup, that is precisely what I did. ;D As for the HT mate....... simple yet effective you could go with..... "OLD PREM" Easy to chop the badges (H OLDEN PREMIER) and would look cool.....
