Okay so Stouts are pretty rare............. I think we'd all agree with that. I however have previously banged on about how mine is the only one known to me in the city I live in and there are over a million people here... blah blah blah.................. well................ imagine my suprise when I got a phone call last Friday night from a buddy claiming to be standing next to a Lite-Stout in a car yard.......... and............. that car yard was only a few kilometres from my house
So of course I rushed down after work that very night to make sure he was telling the truth. He was. I went back Sunday to take some photo's of course. As you can see in one photo they are asking $10,990. This equates to USD $9,930 for all you Americans playing at home.
A bit pricey in my opinion. It is supposedly a ground up resto according to the sign. Not sure how long ago however as I could see a couple of areas that had been poorly touched up with non-matching red paint. Also disappointing to me was the Sports steering wheel and sports looking floor mounted gear shift. Not to mention the fact that the Toyota badge on the grille has been painted the same red colour as the body...... and.............. the badges on the front guards have been painted white. Also I'm not particularly a fan of the tray-back with the wood side, but that's just my personal preference. I think more than anything I am just disappointed to see another one turn up so quickly after mine has hit the streets. Maybe it's jealousy. It has come from interstate looking at the registration plate.
Anyhow........... here's some pics of it. Let me know what you think.
