There is a good chance (happens with mine) that you may just have some corrosion on the contacts of the fuse holder. Removing the fuse and cleaning the contacts (on my Stout, I believe it is the 3rd fuse from the bottom of the fuse tray), usually will get the lights working.
If this is a truck that has done any amount of sitting, I would suggest going through most of the wiring contact points to make sure things are clean and conducting or grounding the way that they should.

My apologies, the headlights are the first fuse. I hope I did not cause any problems.

I was looking for a post on changing the Stout RK41 generator to an alternator (never found it) and found the post on 'wiring'.
The fuse block (six fuses) used on the RK41 Stout is the same as that used on the RT43/52 Corona thru 1968, 82610-30022/82600-30022 which I stock $50.28. I also stock the Toyota fuses, 5 & 15 amp fuses are $0.94 and the 20 amp is $0.89.
I have put together a kit to convert the Stout RK41 from an generator to an alternator (one have been installed and the second in 'in the mail'). The kit uses Corona parts and includes the wiring pigtail that you need to wire into your harness for the alternator & voltage regulator. I have one more ready to ship, figure about $200 + shipping. The kit includes alternator, regulator, alternator top & bottom brackets, hardware, fan belt, pigtail & wiring diagram.
