Hi, just posted my introduction, and to make a short story even shorter, I want a Stout!! I've got a '73 Datsun 620 and a '69 521. I would consider trading BOTH for ONE driveable Stout. (Heck, maybe even one un-driveable Stout if you tow it to me ;D) I'm in Nor-Cal, about an hour and a half outside Sacramento- Here's the picks of what I'd like to trade- They aren't "restored" or anything, but they are both pre-smog with 5-speed Transmissions, and a few other nice little details. I've tried contacting both the recent "craigslist" posts (in OR and AZ), now I'm just patiently waiting for their responses, which I will hopefully receive... If you are anywhere close to Northern CA and are interested in trading or selling your Stout (nothing over $3,000 please, I'm not made of money!) PLEASE!! Be in touch!! Thank you! >Justin

You must want a Stout real bad. Jeez I would be tempted to swap my Stout for that 521 alone. That thing could be super awesome. If it were mine I would make it look exactly like the one below except I wouldn't have that massive truck mirror hanging off the side of it and I would hit it with a hammer (ie SLAM it!). Yours even has the hubcaps....... mmmmmmmm huuuuuubbbbbcaaaaaaaaps!!!!! I even reckon that canopy is cool! Well my friend I hope someone comes up with a swap for you but I urge you to consider keeping that 521. Don't know how rare they are in USA but here they are.... well..... I have only ever seen one. It was a long long time ago and it was yellow and in poor condition.

Oz_stout- ALOT of people have told me to keep the 521, and I would really like too! I have seen two 521's in the town I live in (which IS somewhat out of the norm, one parked and a different one driving around) The only problem is I don't know if I can get enough "dough" for the 620...?
But I was in contact w/the gentlemen in OR (with the stout posted in the "for sale"), and his price for his Stout is extremely reasonable! And I will be able to keep the 521 (as soon as the 620 sells) if I buy his!!
That's what I'm hoping for, thanks for the reply!

I know of a stout in Oroville. I tried to buy it about 8 monthes ago and he didnt want to sell. but he told me to check back with him in a few monthes and if he hadnt done anything with it he might get rid of it. Im not sure how much he would want for it but I could show you where it is. I also know of a few others that are around if nothing comes through for you.

Toyotageek and dtkstout- Thank you both!
So far my biggest hang-up is finding one that won't need to be trailered into CA; or finding one in the price range I've set for myself. The price range which will be dictated by how much I can sell my Datsun for. On the advice of several people, I'm going to hold onto my 521, so hopefully my 620 will sell soon and I can stop dreaming about Stouts and start buying!

On the advice of several people, I'm going to hold onto my 521 That is great news. I really think you would live to regret getting rid of that truck. I miss a few of my old cars that I got rid of but could have found a way to keep. Now just keep praying to the Stout gods that they will provide for you

I know I would regret getting rid of the 521- And I do have "plans" for a 620, but I would much rather (i.e.: I need to find!!) a Stout!!
I'm really interested in finding that stout in Oroville, but I don't want to waste anyone's time before I have the $$$ to get it!!
