I'm a new member, I just bought a 1974 Corolla 1600. It needs some minor things like a fuel pump, which Kragen claims to have ordered for me( mechanical), a right rear tail light assembly and some minor body work. I say Kragen claims to have ordered it because I sent an email to TOS in Sacramento, or Toyota Specialties for an estimate on installing the fuel pump and a tune up, they not only would not quote me a price, they said they could not and would not work on it since they cannot get parts for it. Napa auto parts also said they do not carry fuel pumps or most other parts for this car anymore. So I joined T.O.R.C. in the hopes that someone can steer me in the right direction. The 74 I bought has a clean body other then the right rear, which just seems to have smashed the tail light area. The engine runs great, it has a header, a flow master and dual tips. The interior is clean also. I paid $1000 for it off of Craigs list and drove it 30 miles to home with no problems. I'm hoping to have some fun with this car.

Thanks for joining and WELCOME to TORC! Sounds like you have yourself a fun little project. Hopefully some of the members here can help you locate any parts you might need, but if not you can also check out our friends over at Japanese Nostalgic Car (it never hurts to check more than one forum).
