A few months back I posted in the Stout forum regarding frame number data and was rewarded with much more than I anticipated. This got me well on the way to supporting the Hi-Lux/Truck as well.
Through one of the gracious forum members I was able to get frame number tables for the Hi-Lux/Truck up to May 1975, and the famous framno tables pick up in late 1978. But that leaves a rather large hole in the middle of being able to reasonably decode '70s truck VINs.
Does anyone have any information regarding production totals, sequences, or frame numbers from 1975-1978?
And while I'm thinking about it, does anyone know why the framno database is missing information on US vehicles prior to late '78?
