Well I am sure no one on here knows that I try and collect old Toyota manuals and repair manuals and what not. I am also sure that some people on here have a lot better collection then I do but I thought I would share a couple of the books I just picked up last night. There is a book store that literally has hundreds of thousands of used books. Well it seems everytime I get a chance to go in there I always find a couple of old Toyota books. Well here is a couple that I picked up last night. If I get a chance I think I might get all the books I have so far together and start a blog of collecting them. Anyways here are the books: Owners Manual for a 1973 Hilux. The owner of the shop said this truck used to be his. A Repair Manual for the Chassis and Body for a 1972 Land Cruiser. This is an actual Toyota manual not an aftermarket company one. I found this new vehicle warranty card inside of the Land Cruiser repair manual. It has all the information of the owner that bought the 1972 Cruiser brand new.

Looks like you're lucky to have that bookstore near by! Those are both some nice finds! I never thought of checking the used book shops for old owners manuals. The Land Cruiser book is a good find, and kind of interesting since it had that warramtu card with it!
Let us know if you start up that book blog. I have a blog that covers my interest in Toyotamobilia - mostly about die cast, or what the rest of the world calls minicars - www.xanga.com/toyotageek I've also posted news about a few books, and plan to talk about more.
Keep up the collecting & good luck!

Keep up the collecting & good luck! Thanks I never thought of finding or looking for old Toyota books at used book stores until I went into that store and actually got lost in the store and happened to look up and saw a hole bunch of used books. My dad also collects old Toyota books and actually has the engine and drivetrain repair manual that goes with the repair manual I got. I have seen your blog on your toyota collectors things and if I do start a blog it will be a lot like yours since I collect any Toyota diecasts I can as well. I used to collect hotwheels(I even have a hotwheels tattoo) but I am preparing to sell all my hotwheels except for my Toyota/Lexus/Scion's and just focus on the wonderful manufactuer. If I have time today I think I will at least go take pictures of some books that my dad gave me that he found at his work. They are the parts books they used before they used micro-fiche. those are some cool books and the sad part is my dad has been selling Toyota parts so long that he can still tell me the part numbers for most of those books.
