The Little Green Machine that you might have seen crusing around town...This car is a real classic! I bought it from the Salvation Army 8 yrs ago. It belonged to a lady who purchased it in Jan 1967 from Santa Barbara Toyota. It lived in Carpinteria, Ca. its whole life with the 1 owner. It has the original books and tools in the trunk. I LOVE this little car but I cannot afford to put any more effort into figuring out the transmission. I have spent $6200 on this car I am asking $5,000. It still needs a paint job to become the full jewel it is meant to be. Repaired so far... Rebuilt the carburetor, put in a new radiator and hoses rebuilt the engine...including: 4) .030 PISTONS 1) .030 RING SET 1) CAMSHAFT BEARINGS 1) ROD BEARINGS .010 1) MAIN BEARINGS .010 1) THRUST SET 8) LIFTERS & CAM 1) GASKET SET 4) EXH GUIDES 1) CAM GEAR and rebuilt the transmission twice the 2nd time... 1) Torque converter 2) Flex plate 3) Front pump seal 4) The second gear band, It also has a new water pump, new muffler and complete exhaust lines and a new battery. The interior is nice and the seats are in great condition. The exterior is getting some rust but there is no major body damage or wrecks. After 250 miles on the newly rebuilt engine/tranny, the transmission went out for a 2nd time. It could be $250-$1000 to repair.
