I am new to this forum but not to the love of cars. I am sure we are all kindred spirits here. My father was a "car lover" and passed that along to me from my first car a 1966 Mustang with GT package in 1969 to my current original owner 1972 Datsun 240Z and second owner 1972 FJ40 Land Cruiser. I road raced (club and IMSA) a Datsun 240Z in the 70's and early 80's and am now happily restoring and driving classic Japanese cars. I hope to post pictures of my current project, rotisserie restoration of a second owner, truly rust free example of a 1972 FJ40 Land Cruiser.

Worked on restoration of the steering wheel tonight. I am past the epoxy and am now applying filler primer to get rid of all of the sanding marks. I have already cast a new horn center piece. I have photos of the process once I get to the point on this site that I can post them. I plan to paint the drivers seat parts this weekend if all goes well. I ordered a new dash Warn locking hubs sticker when it arrived I found it to fall short of my expectations so I am going to a vendor tomorrow to have a correct locking hub sicker produced for the dash. The one I purchased is not only sloppy it is not the correct size nor does it have the correct verbiage. I contacted the company and shared my disappointment this afternoon. Look forward to more post on this site.
