Not sure where to begin. In 2011 I purchased a KP61 Starlet with a 4AGE and a T50 5 speed. I turned it into an autocross car and enter SCCA events here in Northern California as well as the Solo II Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska. This thus began my infatuation with the little car. Late last year I tracked down the owner of the Starlet shown below, Greg Hotz. In late December of 2014 a good friend, Rick Myllenbeck, and I purchased the famous Starlet. Late last week the Starlet and almost 500 lbs of spares arrived and were off loaded. Our plan is to campaign it on the West Coast in VARA and SVRA sanctioned events. The car is in great shape ready to race. Greg had completed some engine tuning before we purchased it. We are thankful Greg sold us the Starlet. Next both Rick and I will need to get our Competition licence. Next year 2016 we should be able to begin campaigning the Starlet. We are not sure if we will restore it to its original TRD build colors or leave it as is.
