I've owned/driven Toyotas since July 1973.
Plan to do minor restoration work to my '94 pickup. Will use this site to research sources for restoration supplies.
Ownership Bio:
July 1973 - August 1982: 1971 Celica ST, 1.8 litre, 4 cylinder 8RC engine, 4-speed manual, mustard yellow with black vinyl interior, first Toyota, college car and early working commuter car, sold at 150k miles. Ugly, poor handling, but Toyota dependable!
August 1982 - October 1994: 1982 Celica GTS, 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder 18RC engine, 5-speed manual, white with brown fabric interior. Good looking, great interior, excellent handling. sold at 160k miles to buy pickup.
August 1994 - July 2006: 1994 Camry LE V6 Wagon, 4-speed auto, white with grey interior, put 290k miles on it - kids grew up in it - driven to school, family vacations, camping trips, etc.
October 1994 - present: 1994 Pickup Extended Cab, 22R-E 4 cylinder with 5-speed manual, started out as daily-driver commuter vehicle, now weekend hauling/spare vehicle, currently has 220k miles.
August 2004 - May 2010: 2004 Camry SE; 4 cylinder, 5-speed manual, white with tan fabric interior, 'rare' manual transmission model assembled in Japan. My daily commuter car, had a premature ending at 105k miles when stopped at a traffic light and rear-ended by Ford Explorer SUV.
May 2010 - present; 2007 Camry SE; 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder, 5-speed manual, white with black fabric interior, my current commuter car with 55k miles, fantastic handling car - my favorite Toyota since the '82 Celica GTS.
September 2009 - present: 2009 Matrix; 1.8 litre, 4 cylinder, 4-speed auto, metallic charcoal grey with black fabric interior, wife's daily commuter with 38k miles; ugly, boring but Toyota dependable.
