Hello all! New here and new to Santa Clara (CA). I am a mechanical & manufacturing engineer from Los Angeles. I love cars. No seriously, I mean when I was 5, I loved toy cars. When I was 10 it was RC Cars, then full size cars and now here we are. Oddly, I do not work with cars as my profession, cars are my hobby and that is where it will stay. I have restored every car I own. I do my own paint, body, interior, engine building, transmissions and I have even redesigned all the A/C systems in all of my cars that came with A/C. I own 6 Ford Pintos, 4 Fiats, one Vespa and the reason I am here, two Toyotas. Here are some shots of my cars: 1976 Mercury Bobcat (Almost Done) 1977 Ford Pinto Wagon 1980 Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon (Decals not on yet) 1974 Ford Pangra Wagon (Turbo with A/C, 1 of 39, 1 of 2 wagons & the only 74 ever built) 1979 Ford Pinto Wagon 1980 Ford Pinto Sedan 1984 Fiat Ritmo Cabrio - Grey market import, 1 of 2 in the USA 1980 Fiat Strada - US Spec car with Euro Bumpers 1975 Fiat 124S 1979 Fiat 131 - Now with Fuel injection, turbo and A/C. Paint to come And now the REASON why I joined this forum: 1991 Toyota Tercel. Owned by my Mom since new: 1980 Toyota Truck 3/4 ton. Bought new by my dad in 1980. 550K miles on it. Going to restore after the house is done. Oh and my sister and I restored her nissan too, think you might like it: She, of course, also has a Pinto (its a sickness really) Come to think of it, so does my Fiance: Thats how I role people! Glad to join up and looking forward to meet some people as sick as I. my Flicker account: www.flickr.com/photos/26161002@N03/collections/72157607367687326/
