My 1985 Cerlica GTS liftback is in need of a right rear control arm. The two dealers in my area say they can no longer find one from Toyota nor the few parts suppliers with whom they deal.
Mine is rusting through and soon the car will be undrivable. I would like to keep it one the road for a few more years, as it has not yet crossed the 100K odometer mark.
A used one would be fine as long as it is relatively sturdy. I believe one from model year 1982-1984 would be the same.
I'd appreciate any help or other ideas anyone may have. My direct e-mail address is: acdeerrt@att.net

Your best bet is to use Ebay and find a parts car. You can use a rear control arm from the same year model Supra. The IRS was the same between the GTS and the Supra. The only difference was the gear ratio in the diferential. There is a dealer called OldCelicaParts that sells on ebay. I have seen them put up a whole rear assy from time to time. There link is stores.ebay.com/Old-Celica-Parts. Hope this helps

If this is true I can get a clean one from the local junkyards out here in So-Cal. There was a couple GT celica's and quite a few supras of that same year. Hit me up at ROJOPEREZ@GMAIL.COM
