so i want to lower my rt46 but i dont want to hack up the original springs and dont want to have to pay to have lowering springs shipped from aus so i was wondering what springs from other cars will fit and mabey a stiffer spring rate. i dont mind cutting them or anything but im looking that will drop it about 2 in

I can supply a pair of used springs that you can cut to lower the front end $48.50 + shipping, or a used pair that have been blasted & painted $97.00 + shipping.
The 3RC and 8/18RC pans are different so I do not think the 3RC pan will fit on the 20/22 engines. I believe that the people that have used the 20/22 engines in the RT43 found a stock pan that would work (like from a pickup).

I have a 22re in my '69 Corona. The pan is from a pickup as Carlyn stated.
