I just bought new equipment, and am able to make full color printed decals, and labels. I know some of you want to restore your cars and wish to replace your worn out hood decals, etc. I am able to reproduce most as long as I have a clear picture of the decal along with the correct size ( height x width) If anyone out there is interested, PM me and we can work something out. Here is a sample of one I made for the Corona.. Also available, poster size prints, 24 inches by 36 inches and more sizes. Suggestions are always welcome. Gerry

The label looks sweet! ;D But I do have a comment (not a critisism), In the photo, the 3RC background looks pink. Is that correct? I don't have an actual sample, but shouldn't it be red? I have a bunch of questions What do you print on? Is it vinyl? What is the process? What kind of life-span do you expect out of them? There is a growing market for these type of labels (since Toyota isn't keeping them in production), and I'm glad you are taking steps to assure that the collectors and restorers can keep their cars looking good!

Thank you for the comments! Yes I do agree it looks a bit pink, but it's actually like a golden yellow. I still have to tweak the ICC profiles on my printer. As far as the printing process goes, its atcually 6 mil printable vinyl and pigmented outdoor UV inks. Once the sticker is printed it's laminated with UV protectant. This process usually lasts quite some time ( 2 to 3 years) and perhaps more because the decal is not exposed to the sun. I installed one in my car and will check constantly to see how it withstands. I also have the thermal printer, which uses color ribbons . The colors are thermally transfered unto the vinyl , making them fade proof, waterproof, and scratch resistant.... these can last up to 6 years. I am yet to find pictures with labels from different models, but it is very hard. I will keep trying and maybe I can provide more than Corona labels. Gerry

Thanks for the info on the stickers Gerry! I'll spread the word that you would like samples from other cars, although I know that will be the hard part. I would love to get stickers for my Celica, especially emission and wiring diagram stickers. Mine are still there, but would not make good samples for reproduction If I ever see any good examples, I'll make sure to take some high res pix for you! There was a previous thread, started by member cman, that was all about various Corona engine stickers, and he had several reproduced - but he lives in Finland
