Hello,
I'm looking for a Corona two door hardtop from the following series, about 1973-1982:
RT11#, TT11# RT12#, TT12# RT13#, TT13#
Ideally I'd like an RT112, RT114 or RT115 Corona hardtop! LHD or RHD does not matter and I'll consider any location. Mechanical condition is not important, but I'd like something that is low-rust and has had no major accidents.
I'd also consider a two door sedan or hardtop Carina from any year.
No Mark II models (MX or RX) please. Sorry to the Mark II fans.
So if you see anything suitable for sale, please let me know ASAP.
Cheers, Brett.

Hi, Pics look good, but I'm not sure how hard it would be to ship from the phillipines. I cannot access the Grupo Toyota site. What sort of $$ is the seller asking? Thanks, bnicho.

I guess $6000.00 US equal to Phillipine money Php 320,000.00 It is a good buy as well ...Very rare for that car been fully restored and modifide engine..I wish i live there... You can registerd to that website grupotoyota so you can log in... You can ask you shipping company there , may they can help you out..I know some people here in CA they bring some few cars here in the US...Just ask

Thanks, it's a nice car, but $6000 US is outside my budget unfortunately. I'm looking for up to $3000 US max + shipping. Hoping to find one that has a good body with minimal rust. Mechanicals and paint don't matter, I can fix those here. Just missed out on one japan yesterday. Sold while I was getting the deal organised through my importer. Cheers,

Hi, Sorry, I forgot this thread was still here, so I haven't check it in ages! I bought a JDM RT112 Corona from Japan a year ago and completed restoring it earlier this year. I'm now enjoying driving it. Thanks for the replies! Cheers, Brett in Oz.

Mate, that is one beautiful looking Corona. I can't stop looking at it. When you get sick of it send it over to Adelaide. ;D

Mate, that is one beautiful looking Corona. I can't stop looking at it. When you get sick of it send it over to Adelaide. ;D Thanks for the compliment! I just love opening the garage door to look at it, let alone driving it! The plan was to use it as a daily, but it's just too nice. So I have kept my RT132 too. I think I want to change the wheels for something else more JDM looking. The rims on it are Aussie made ones I just had lying around. I didn't like them on the car at first, but they have grown on me! Also the original fender mirrors will be going back on now rego is passed. I had planned to do the Bay to Birdwood this year in Adelaide, but an unexpectedly hasty house move meant I hand to cancel my entry. Cheers,

I had planned to do the Bay to Birdwood this year in Adelaide, but an unexpectedly hasty house move meant I hand to cancel my entry. ahhhhh jeez....... I'm sad to hear that cos I am locked in for the Bay to Birdwood. Would have been awesome to see the 'Rona there. I can't wait. It's only a week and a half away. I have gone in it a fair few times, never with the same car twice. It's the best day on the South Aussie motoring calendar for sure.

It certainly is a great event. We went to have a look at the start and finish when we were on hols in Adelaide four years ago. I've wanted to go back since, but I just can't afford the time away at the moment. It's a real bummer, I was looking forward to it. But I will make Hanging Rock in Feb, which is the best show on the Vic calendar! I've taken it to a couple of local events and people don't know what sort of car it is. Usually they think it's American. Then they see the badge on the rear quarter and you hear them say say "Oh, it's a two door Corona! Never seen one of them before!" Some stories about the car on other forums: japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=537www.toyota3tc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8812
