Hi, I'm a new member here. The reason I joined the TORC community is that I own a 1980 Toyota Corona RT134. This vehicle is the only one in my country and you can imagine it's very hard to find any parts. Ordering single parts from US is way too expensive and now I'm trying to find a single person (of course I could also use several persons) who could provide me some parts for my restoration project. At the moment the most needed parts are small body parts, for example blinkers, lights etc. I'm also planning to rebuild the engine. I managed to buy a 20R engine gasket set from eBay but I think there's more than that needed (like water pump etc.). So. please, if there's anyone who thinks is capable to provide me some parts, please contact me! Please check my Corona pics hereWith many thanks and regards from Finland Mika

Hello Mika! Sorry I didn't greet you sooner! Welcome to our site. It's always good to see Toyota's from other countries. Do you know Vesa Tuomisto? He's from Finland (I'm not sure if he could helpt though) Since the US is so far and parts and shipping are pricey, have you tried the Toyota Enthusiasts Club from England? I checked if these are still available from Toyota USA. The tail lights and license plate lights are not available. BUT, the side marker lights are. The front are about $25 and the rear are about $26.

No, but thanks for the tip. However, I have a friend in US who can ship a bigger set of parts for me so I'll spare some money with smaller delivery costs. I checked if these are still available from Toyota USA. The tail lights and license plate lights are not available. BUT, the side marker lights are. The front are about $25 and the rear are about $26. This is good to know, I'll have to ask my friend to buy new ones from a local Toyota dealer! Thanks!

BTW, does anyone remember the web site that offers parts for several cars / models? The site has a browsing interface styled like Windows Explorer. I thought I found a link from this site but I have now been browsing and searching this forum for a hour with no results.
I found those marker lights from there but forgot to add the site to my favorites list and now it's gone. Nothing in history data or bookmarks.
Please help!
Thx

Bosal makes a direct fit exhaust system for the Corona. I ordered one and am waiting for it to arrive. This includes everything from manifold to the rear. The only problem I'm having is finding the hanger bracket that installs at the front of the catalytic converter. It is a specially designed bracket. I'm looking for a left taillight lens if anyone has one.

Bosal makes a direct fit exhaust system for the Corona. Sorry for the delayed answer... That's great news! Have you already had the exhaust system? Does it look like original? How about the sounds? edit: Ooops, forgot to ask: Where did you order that and how much was it? Is your car with 20R, too (and a Liftback)?

Sorry, yes I received the parts a couple months ago and the muffler (part from cat to rear) was exactly like the one I replaced. It was the last one in the US. I had hangers fabricated and welded to the cat made of mild steel and purchased some new rubber donuts. The brand as I stated before is Bosal. I painted all the parts except the new cat for extra protection and add a new chrome tip at the end. Work great and sounds stock.

It was the last one in the US. Thanks for the information. However, if that's the last piece, I'll have to find something else.

Happy New Year!! I just had rust repair done last week. I had rust holes in the passenger-side rear fender-well repaired in two places, and at each end of the rocker panels on both sides. One was about 200 mm x 200 mm and the rest were smaller. Since fenders are impossible to find, I had a hole repaired in one front fender. This should hold as long as I have this car. ;D

I've been busy (read: lazy) and nothing has happened to my car... The current project is to reproduce all the necessary decals for the engine bay. Still, it seems to be a difficult job. Hope it gets easier soon...

Wow. It's been a while since my previous post. That time I bought a JDM turbo MR2 (SW20) and because of a huge amount of problems with that one, the Corona was not in my interests - nor did I have the budget to do anything for the car. However, a few months ago I took the car under work again and slowly there is some progress also. Attachments:
