I drive a 1977 Toyota Corolla Liftback with less than a hundred-thousand miles on it. So far, it has been a very reliable car. However, I have had problems with the starter simply not wanting to crank. I've replaced the starter twice with starters from Park's Auto Parts. Only occasionally does the starter refuse to run. I'm trying to look to a forum in order to get some answers because I dont want to have to throw another starter in it. Ive changed everything other than the ignition switch. New battery cable to the starter and I wired out the neutral safety. Also, if anyone knows why the charge and brake light come on at the same time at low RPM's and then shuts off at high RPM's, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, T Bird
