Anyone ever try and add AC to their Stout. If so, where did you get the unit, how did it work, could you show me how you did it?

there was a unit that i remember that was in my dads XB falcon (australia) a wagon version of the mad max car and they were removable, i do also remember seeing them just laying around. here is a RK101 stout of the 70's with one in it and as i remember they were a flexible hose issue that was in many cars of the era and easy to fit in anything, it is just the mounting of the compressor and brackets. www.thaiscooter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=458312EDIT www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,0/page,viewtopic/t,272407/start,2/postdays,0/postorder,asc/highlight,/sid,1f55b5b994bbeebda233f017915c0f85/ acsale2011.com/2521-air-car-conditioner-dash-under-vintage.html68redmustang.blogspot.com.au/2010_05_01_archive.htmli hope that helps

It looks like it would work, I wonder where you could locate one?

There are many a/c units which can be researched throughout the web. Also, its repairable professionally like the services cooling repair st. albert, otherwise, if its not working replace it.

It's the engine brackets that are difficult. Anyone know if 1.9 same configurations as a modern engine?
