I know that Addco makes sway bars for the '64-'70 Coronas. My original front sway bar is 3/4" diameter. The Addco bar (part #809) is 7/8" diameter. That seems like a small increment in performance and I would prefer to go up to a 1" diameter bar. Does anyone know if a 1" front bar from a '73-'83 Corona (part #812) will work on the older cars? How about a 1" bar part #802 for a '70-'79 Corolla? What about a 1" bar part #873 for a '68-'78 Datsun 510 & 210? If not, do you know of an application that will work?
Is anyone using the 7/8" Addco bar and can report on how much of an improvement it was over the stock bar?
Thanks.

I have a custom made 1 inch bar. dont do it. 7/8 is very good size as I have ordered one (but not installed yet). Remember this is a small car that is light. you dont need a fat bar. you can also modify an AE86 rear bar to fit but needs welding some brackets to do so

Let me know how you like the 7/8 bar once you get it installed and running.
