Hello! I have heard that the 80's Yota's had LSD rear-ends, and I am curious as to what models this pertains too (4x4 alone? Or...?). The reason for my inquiry is because it snows where I live and my '03 Tacoma only has an open-diff, and it SUCKS in bad weather!!! I have heard the 96+ Tacoma's only have LSD as an electronic option, such as for four-wheeling and the like. LSD's that need to be "turned on" to use defeat the purpose in my mind, and so I am wondering what 80's toyota rear-end may be adapted to my '03 in order to get limited-slip to HOPEFULLY make bad weather driving more tolerable! Please help me find my answer before it starts to snow!!!!!! Thanks very much!
