Hello!
Just bought my dream car, a 1991 MX83 Burgundy Toyota Cressida. The car is nearly perfect. Just needs minor painting on the front bumper, some detailing on the sides, and it has a little bit of oxidation on the roof. The interior is to die for, there are no dents, no major scratches, and even the trunk is spotless.
This car is literally fully loaded, with power windows, doors, locks, A/C, Am/Fm/Cassette/CD stereo, power seats, telescope & tilt steering wheel. Everything is original on the car, minus the radiator, the gas tank door, and the wheels and tires. Currently have 16" 2001 stock Highlander wheels and top of the line Toyo's.
I bought this car for $350.00. NOT a type-o. The guy who sold it to me said it was his mothers, and when the head gasket blew, steam poured out of the exhaust, and it freaked her out. The car sat for 3 months, cause the guy didn't want to pay a mechanic $100 an hour to tear open the engine to replace the head gasket. This car has- get this- 100,238 original miles on it.
So after regretting so much selling my little reliable '93 Corolla last week, this has been a great find. This is a car I will be able to drive and enjoy for at least 10 more years, and I can't wait to start working on it tomorrow.
We (my dad and I) plan on taking it to the Toyota show in Long Beach this year... we miss the old Cressida we sold last summer :3 which we took to the show twice, and loved it. This is my baby, and it will steal the show
I will post pics tomorrow, as we just got the car home, it is dark, I haven't washed it yet, and I am SO tired from the days' events.
Thank you,
SmoothCressida1991
PICS!!!
