Hey there folks. I am wondering, does anybody know about a Tercel All-Trac being sold in the US? I've consulted all the material we have in the archive and have come up with no mention of it. Wikipedia says it was available but doesn't mention where it was sold.

all trac tercel were sold only in japan at a very limited number
They have the same 1.5L 90 horses engine couple with a 5 speed gear box and a rear differential like the AE86
The body is not like a regural tercel it's like compare a fwd celica to a all trac one...
So everything is different
You have the awd model old tercel too 198* ? to 1987-88 i think they looks like and AWD station corolla AE95 model 88-93

Mitchel - Hopefully you will get this. The Tercel was not called an "All Trac;" just a Tercel 4WD. It was available (in the USA) as only a wagon, although there are reports it was also available here as a 4-door hatch (not a sedan, per se, but a truncated version of the wagon. I just made this posting in the Toyota section of JNC, but am pasting it here as well. mitchsb - WOW - someone from the MotherShip is interested in T4WDs! I don't believe it! Wish I'd done a Search here in JNC back in late 2008! It sure would have been nice if the CA HQ answered some emails a few years ago... ANYway - water under the bridge.
Join our T4WD Club at www.tercel4wd.com/forums/ We have a very active worldwide group, dedicated to the preservation of these wonderful little cars; not into neon and competition audio - just the safe and continued life of our very competent little guys. There are some very talented members in the Club - and VERY helpful, I might add. We do have many resources, including an '85 FSM available for download - also info on the AutoZone Tercel Repair Guide Site, which is often much more helpful than the FSM... We also have scans of sales brochures, and Road & Track and Car and Driver and OZ road tests as well. Incidentally, 2WD Wagons are also welcome. I am a moderator of the Club: ARCHINSTL. Tom M.
