Well a few months ago I was approached by a fellow who wanted to do an article for a classic car magazine (Retro Cars) in the UK. Yep UK. From time to time Aussie cars are lucky enough to feature in car magazines overseas. In fact my Cortina had a 6 page feature in "Classic Ford" magazine last year. That's how I got this gig actually.
So this guy knew I had the Stout as well and spoke to me about putting both the Cortina and the Stout into this article that he planned around 10 cars to be involved in. He came to my house to have a look at the cars and noticed also that I had the little KE11 Corolla sitting there. After trying to buy it off me and being told it was not for sale, he decided to also include it in his photoshoot. So, a few weekends back I was pretty lucky to have 3 of my cars involved in the photoshoot. Only problem was getting all the cars to the shoot location, but I had help of course.
Anyway I will let the photo's do the talking. My photo's of course. I haven't seen any of the real photo's at this stage and I don't expect I will until the magazine comes out. Not sure how long that will take. Could be 6 months even they said.
